We've upgraded to a full-colour wash rig. That means the entire space can be bathed in a single tone, shifted across a spectrum, or set to a static colour that serves your work — from warm candlelit amber to cold clinical white, or something far stranger.
This isn't a gimmick. It's infrastructure. The kind of atmospheric control that used to require a dedicated lighting designer on a complex rig is now standard at Circle & Star, available to every production that hires the room.
If your show has a world, we can now light it properly.
A 100-inch screen — full width, ceiling-mounted, integrated into the room. Not a projector on a white wall. A proper display surface, sized for 55 seats, calibrated for the intimate scale of what happens here.
What this makes possible: film sequences that aren't an afterthought. Backdrops that are part of the design, not an apology for the absence of one. Live visual performance. Documentary footage that lands with the weight it deserves. Immersive theatre that actually immerses.
